Several very useful resources are available to you to help find documents of interest relating to biomass.
-
The Biomass Document Database is a comprehensive collection of technical and outreach documents produced by the Biomass Program and predecessor Biofuels Program. We are working to include documents from the Biopower Program and other relevant predecessor organizations as well as documents important to biomass, not produced by the program, but coverage will not be as complete.
-
The lower portion of this page provides quick links to some of the most frequently referred publications for information about biomass technology. A few are key technical or management documents, but most are popular brochures.
- Biomass Program and Vision
- Feedstocks
- Sugar Platform Technology
- Thermochemical Platform Technology
- Biobased Products
- Integrated Biorefineries
- Bioethanol and the Ethanol Industry Today
- Biodiesel and the Biodiesel Industry Today
- Environmental Impacts
- National Bioenergy Center Facilities
- Archival Documents
-
The documents listed on this page are ones of more general interest. Several pages on this Web site have more detailed lists of (generally more technical) publications specific to the topics being discussed if you want more detailed information on those topics: Process Engineering and Life Cycle Analysis; Bridging to the Corn Ethanol Industry; Pretreatment Technology Evaluation; and Pretreatment Hydrolysis Fundamentals.
-
BIOBIB is a bibliography of documents for biomass feedstock research and analysis work at Oak Ridge National Laboratory and is an excellent resource for bioenergy crop research.
-
These online databases may include citations, but will not generally include copies of copyrighted book chapters, journal articles, and conference papers. You should go to traditional library resources for these. Recent Posters and Papers, does, however include copies of selected articles by Biomass Program researchers, for which permission to post was obtained, as well as selected conference posters, which normally do not get published.
Some of the following documents are available as Adobe Acrobat PDFs. Download Adobe Reader.
